The position

Our Trade and Operations teams are in the forefront of the company's global regulatory and product safety effort, focusing on protecting people, property, and the environment through world class product regulatory practices.  
You will join our fast-paced, dynamic autonomous vehicles industry.  

What your job will look like:

  • We are looking for someone with a growth mindset who is passionate about learning and motivated by new challenges.
  • The PRE owns conducting regulatory engineering activities in partnership with OMD and design teams, reviewing product design to ensure compliance to relevant standards and regulation such as EMC, Product Safety, Wireless, Automotive UN ECE Reg 10, REACH, CA prop 65 & ELV.
  • You will work with external and internal testing laboratories for product regulatory testing. As your career progresses in the team, you will have opportunities to interact with external standards bodies and special industry groups.
  • The position requires continuous collaboration with multiple internal teams, customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all products remain competitive in the global marketplace.

All you need is:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant/regulated industry experience is required.
  • Experience with test methods, laboratories and equipment, and systems design.
  • Capable of learning and implementing international regulatory practices and standards.
  • Knowhow of import/export and trade compliance terminologies and best practices is a considerable bonus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
