Mobileye North America is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team by managing accurate reports on Accounts Payable and Receivable, booking journal entry transactions, preparing bank reconciliation and statements and assisting the Controller with monthly and quarterly financial statements. The candidate should have general knowledge on all aspects of Accounting. The position requires working in our office in the mid-town Manhattan office and will report to the Controller.

Job Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process by booking journal entries
  • Perform activities related to Accounts Payable (AP) including establishing new vendors and bills, booking invoices, resolving discrepancies between POs and bills, and processing payments and ACH templates
  • Perform activities related to Accounts Receivable including establishing new customer records, posting credit memos for RMA, monitoring collection, booking bank payments and credit cards through BlueSnap
  • Monitor and record accrual and prepaid expenses by multiple departments
  • Book semi-monthly payroll using Paychex reports
  • Review, approve, and book employees’ monthly expense reimbursement reports via SAP Concur
  • Register new states, set up sales tax returns, and reconcile filing and payments with third parties
  • Communicate with local/state authorities for tax returns and registration in multiple states
  • Reconcile bank and credit card balances on an ongoing basis
  • Complete monthly cash flow report
  • Maintain good relations with outside vendors, employees, customers, and sales representatives
  • Assist the Controller with ongoing reporting and other tasks to headquarters as required


  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Ability to function well under pressure and with a heavy workload (short timetable)
  • Knowledge of local laws for tax returns and state registration
  • Aptitude in working with accounting software, preferably ERP (NetSuite and SAP Concur are a big plus).
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving
  • Experience in retail or wholesaler industry
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and nights to close financial statements on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Ability to work in the office ~4 days a week
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred and at least two years of experience in similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in written and verbal English
