The position:

  • We are seeking a Software Validation Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and performance of our cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning algorithms. You will be a key player in a data-driven environment, where you'll validate features using crowdsourced data from millions of vehicles. This is a role for a result-oriented, data-driven individual with an innovative mindset who is passionate about embracing new technologies to solve complex challenges.
  • Specifically, you will be working on the REMTM solution, a unique autonomous driving technology innovated by Mobileye. The REMTM solution, developed based on large amount of road and driving experience data as well as AI technology, is a crowdsourced and continuously updated map which digitizes precisely what autonomous driving vehicles need.  

What will your job look like:

  • Large-Scale Feature Validation & Verification: Lead the validation, verification, and analysis of large-scale feature correctness for computer vision and machine learning algorithms. You'll leverage crowdsourced data from millions of vehicles to ensure our features perform reliably and accurately in real-world scenarios.
  • Performance Analysis & Metric Monitoring: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to analyze feature performance and monitor key metrics between software versions. You will identify and report on performance regressions and improvements, ensuring a high standard of quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local and global algorithm engineers to deeply understand the end-to-end workflow of our algorithms, from development to deployment. Your insights will be crucial in improving the efficiency of the entire algorithm evaluation process.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the global validation team by improving the efficiency and quality of our daily work, especially by leveraging the power of AI tools to innovate our processes.

All you need is:

  • Algorithm Validation: Familiarity with algorithm validation and evaluation metrics and methods. You should be comfortable working with complex models and interpreting their outputs.
  • Algorithm knowledge: A strong background in algorithm development, particularly with deep neural networks, graph neural networks, and transformers.
  • Programming Proficiency: Proficient in Python and at least one other programming language, such as C/C++, Rust, or Java.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English to facilitate seamless collaboration with our global teams.
