The position

Mobileye is looking for an Automotive Mechanical Engineer to join our AV Platform Development and Industrialization group in the design of the next generation of an automated driving control unit.

This role includes managing full mechanical projects as a mechanical designer for internal products and as a design authority for customer projects. The role also includes supplier and customer contacts. You will join to a growing and experienced group of Mechanical & HW engineers who determine the future of AV platforms.

What will your job look like?

Leading mechanical Design, Electronics integration, CAD modeling, and drawing creation for our automated driving ECU
Performing design review, DFM review, FMEA review
Responsible for calculations, simulations, and analysis of Mobileye designs
Responsible for defining and executing test plan, analyzing, and reviewing test campaign results
Ordering and procurement of mechanical samples according to the project schedule
Collaborating with the project team as well as with external parties (customer, supplier), e.g. inquiries and technical items

All you need is:

Mechanical Engineering University degree
4+ Years of experience in the Automotive industry
Fully proficient in the usage of CAD tools and technical drawings
Experience in complex automotive design: Electronics integration, ADAS products, high-power dissipation products, etc.
Tolerance analysis, FMEA knowledge, and experience
Initiative and good communication skills
Fluent in English, written and verbal skills
Familiarity with Ansys tools - is an advantage
Fluent in German - is an advantage
