About the team:
We are seeking a hands-on Building Systems & Technical Projects Specialist to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of electrical and building systems across the company’s facilities. You will serve as a key technical focal point, ensuring system reliability, supporting daily operational needs, leading infrastructure improvement initiatives, and overseeing contractors and service providers. The position combines technical expertise, hands-on maintenance activities, system performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment. This position requires on-site presence at our Jerusalem facilities 5 days per week.
What will your job look like:
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve critical building systems, combining hands-on field work with technical problem-solving.
- Investigate system faults and alerts, identify root causes, resolve issues when possible, and coordinate with contractors or engineering when required.
- Handle corrective maintenance and technical service requests from initial diagnosis through resolution and closure.
- Support warranty and defects activities, including technical assessment, contractor coordination, on-site follow-up, and verification of completed work.
- Support and lead small technical projects and system improvements, including solution development, contractor sourcing, quotation review, execution, and handover.
- Work closely with System Owners, technicians, contractors, and internal teams to solve technical challenges and improve system reliability.
- Identify improvement opportunities, evaluate technical alternatives, and provide practical recommendations, including cost/ROI analysis when relevant.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety requirements, procedures, and applicable regulations.
All you need is:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical building systems in commercial, high-tech, industrial, or similar complex facilities – must.
- Electrical license – Must
- Broad technical understanding of building systems such as BMS, electrical, water, fire detection and suppression, elevators, HVAC, and electromechanical systems.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and willingness to perform field maintenance, inspections, testing, and technical activities as part of the daily role.
- Experience working with contractors, service providers, and technical vendors.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and system documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, and self-learning capabilities, with a practical “go and see” approach.
- Experience with technical/infrastructure projects and/or HVAC systems – an advantage.
