Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer with a strong interest and coursework in computer vision and deep learning. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow by working closely with experienced engineers on the development of real-time automotive firmware targeting CPUs, DSPs, and dedicated hardware accelerators.

What will your job look like:

  • Support the design, development, and testing of autonomous vehicle-related functions under supervision.
  • Learn to write optimized code for specific processors and hardware accelerators.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand and implement algorithms in machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion.
  • Analyze workloads and identifying areas for performance improvement.
  • Gain hands-on experience integrating code into full system flows and testing it on simulators and real hardware.
  • Develop a solid understanding of low-level firmware development and system optimization techniques.

All you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Relevant coursework or projects in deep learning, computer vision, or image processing.
  • Basic programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Strong eagerness to learn embedded firmware development.
  • Familiarity with hardware architectures, operating systems, or embedded systems fundamentals.
  • Courses or hands-on projects in machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision.
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
