As a Senior Validation Engineer, you’ll ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of Mobileye’s cutting-edge autonomous driving systems. You’ll spearhead validation strategies, execute complex tests, and deliver insights that refine our industry-defining technology.
What will your job look like?
- Serve as Mobileye's test & validation expert, leveraging your deep understanding of ADAS & AD systems to design and execute validation tasks that ensure system functions and performance meet or exceed design expectations.
- Define KPIs and evaluation methods, conduct public road and proving ground tests in compliance with relevant requirements, regulations, and standards. This involves configuring advanced test equipment, conducting detailed testing with thorough data capture and analysis, identifying root causes, assessing both objective and subjective system performance, and managing issues through close-loop resolution.
- Manage vehicle and data system modifications and maintenance tasks, such as wire harness modification, equipment deployment, and debugging, to ensure the stable and reliable operation of test vehicles & analysis toolchains.
- Conduct benchmarking tests for ADAS & AD vehicles in the market by designing comprehensive benchmarking cases, coordinating internal and external resources for testing, and delivering insightful reports that track cutting-edge system performance.
- Adapt to and complete other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
All you need is:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in system testing & validation within the automotive field, with a preference for experience in ADAS/AD function validation.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in automotive / electronic / mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a leading university.
- Excellent English communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading.
- In-depth knowledge of ADAS & AD systems, coupled with hands-on experience in long and short-distance tests and requirement validation.
- Experience in organizing ADAS regulatory and standard tests, proficiency in setting up test equipment (such as GT/GNSS devices, dummy vehicles/VRU, etc.), and strong report writing skills are required. A competitive advantage if you have access to domestic test sites and equipment resources.
- A thorough understanding and hands-on usage skills of data structures, data infrastructure, and tools. The ability to design and build on/off vehicle tools for data processing and event analysis is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Linux and Python is preferred.
- A strong sense of ownership and self-motivation, driving you to deliver high-quality results and continuously improve.
- A willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by project needs, demonstrating a global mindset.
- A valid C1/C2 driver's license and solid driving skills.
- Fluent Chinese to be able to negotiate with external partners in China.
