Senior Antenna Design Engineer
Mobileye's Radar organization is developing Automotive Radar to enable fully autonomous driving. We are seeking a highly Experienced Antenna Engineer to join our Radar HW group and to lead the design and development of next‑generation 76–81 GHz automotive radar antennas. This is a senior technical role focused on massive MIMO antenna architectures, high‑frequency performance, and advanced automotive radar technology.
What will your job look like:
- Lead the design, simulation, and optimization of mmWave antennas for automotive radars operating in the 76–81 GHz band
- Architect and implement massive MIMO antenna arrays for high‑resolution radar systems
- Drive antenna integration with RF front‑end, transceiver ICs, and radar SoCs
- Perform electromagnetic simulations (HFSS and equivalent) and translate results into manufacturable designs
- Own antenna measurements, validation, and debugging (VNA and other radar test setups)
- Optimize antenna performance for range, angular resolution, sidelobe suppression, and mutual coupling
- Collaborate closely with RF, system, signal processing, packaging, and mechanical teams
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on antenna‑related topics
All you need is:
- 15+ years of hands‑on experience in antenna design, with strong emphasis on mmWave systems
- Proven expertise in 76–81 GHz automotive radar antennas
- Deep knowledge of massive MIMO, phased arrays, beamforming, and array calibration
- Strong background in EM theory, microwave engineering, and RF propagation
- Extensive experience with antenna measurements and lab equipment
- Proficiency with EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST or similar)
- Experience designing antennas for high‑volume manufacturing
- MSc / PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field
- Experience with ADAS or autonomous driving radar systems - Advantage
- Knowledge of radome effects, packaging constraints, and automotive materials - Advantage
