The position

Which department will you join?
REM Cloud Team is building cutting edge state of the art cloud infrastructure that supports huge crowd source mapping.
This is a high profile operation that involves managing of tens of thousands of IoT devices and their dense data transmission.

What will your job look like:

  • Design and implementation of our cloud based applications.
  • Design and develop software components for high availability and high performance cloud solutions.
  • Develop robust designs that encompass open-source, managed services and commercial products apps development.
  • Implement and maintain custom RESTful Web services exchanging large quantities of data.
  • Design and implement our cars IoT project

All you need is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in complex software systems engineering
  • Have a good working knowledge in one of main cloud providers such as AWS, GCP etc
  • Expert programming skill in at least one of NodeJS and/or Python
  • Experience with the latest technology stack such as Docker/Kafka/Elasticsearch/Orchestration tools etc
  • Experience in working with distributed environments
  • Be hands on, motivated, self-starter and self-learner, must understand the entire technology stack
  • Experience with Spark/PySpark - Advantage
  • Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases - Advantage
