Are you an experienced and accomplished data expert /data architect excited by the challenge of defining the vision and leading architecture for big data? The Mobileye Data and engineering infrastructure team is looking for you. We think big and develop platforms and services that scale across Mobileye.  The Data and engineering infrastructure team is looking for a technology leader to define, organize and lead high-performing teams in delivering projects for our expanding cross company engineering groups around the world. 

What will your job look like:

  • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. 
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming. 
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations. 
  • Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality. 
  • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions. 
  • Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems. 
  • Educate staff members through training and individual support. 
  • Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

All you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field or equivalent professional or military experience
  • 7+ years of experience implementing large-scale global data warehousing and analytics projects 
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Lake platform implementation 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning of Spark technology 
  • Experience with relevant tools, like  (presto, drill, MongoDB, Iceberg, Atina, Kafka, Remix) 
  • Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Python, C#, etc) 

Advantage:

  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment 
  • Hands on experience withData platform technologies, Data warehouse, relational database methodologies, development and performance tuning, BI, and ETL skills on large scale systems implementation  
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizations 
  • Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development 
  • Demonstrated industry efficiency in the fields of database, data warehousing or data sciences 
  • Implementing cloud services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments 
  • Customer facing skills to represent Data Org well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation 
  • Desire and ability to interact with different levels of the organization from development to C-Level executives
