We are seeking a highly experienced ATE (Automated Test Equipment) RF Test Engineer to provide on-site support at our test site in Korea. The engineer will be responsible for supporting production test operations, troubleshooting test hardware/software issues, ensuring test program stability, and working closely with local and global engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
What will your job look like:
- Provide hands-on support for ATE test operations in production.
- Debug and resolve test program, hardware, and setup-related issues.
- Maintain and improve test program stability, repeatability, and correlation across sites.
- Work closely with design, product, and quality teams to support new product introduction (NPI).
- Interface with foundries, subcontractors, and test operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with company test methodologies, yield targets, and quality standards.
- Support test data analysis, yield monitoring, and issue reporting.
- Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical leadership on-site.
All you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor ATE test engineering.
- Strong expertise with ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX / J750, Advantest V93K, or equivalent).
- Proven experience with mixed-signal, digital, or RF test methodologies.
- Skilled in test program development, bring-up, and debug.
- Proficiency in programming languages used for ATE (C/C++, Perl, Python, etc.).
- Experience with test hardware (loadboards, probe cards, interface hardware).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
- Fluent in Korean; good communication in English (written and verbal) for global collaboration.
- Experience supporting high-volume production test in OSAT or fabless environments- advantage.
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis and yield management tools- advantage.
- Familiarity with device reliability and qualification testing- advantage.
- Prior experience supporting global semiconductor companies locally in Korea- advantage.
