About the team:
We are seeking a Strategic Sales and Account Management Team Lead to lead Account Managers serving strategic automotive OEM and Tier 1 customers across Europe. This hands-on leadership role combines team management and development with direct ownership of key customer engagements and complex commercial negotiations. Working with leading ADAS/AV companies, you will guide long sales cycles, RFQs, and pricing strategies, driving opportunities from early positioning through commercial execution.
What will your job look like?

Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers, setting priorities and guiding day-to-day execution.

Shape commercial strategy across Volkswagen Group and support the team in managing its key accounts and projects.

Drive additional sales opportunities, taking direct ownership or assigning them to team members as appropriate.

Lead complex negotiations and support the team through long sales cycles, RFQs/RFIs, pricing discussions, and customer escalations.

Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and translate technical capabilities into business value.

Partner with Business Development, Product, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and leadership to advance opportunities.
All you need is:
- BA degree; MBA is a plus.

Proven people management experience in account management, sales, or a similar commercial function.

Strong hands-on experience in strategic account management and sales; automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.

Experience managing long sales cycles, RFQs, and complex commercial negotiations with procurement and senior customer stakeholders.

Strong analytical and commercial skills across pricing, volumes, NRE, and business cases.

A collaborative, structured approach that balances strategic thinking with attention to detail.

Excellent written and spoken English and experience working with international customers.

Willingness to travel primarily to Germany, typically for one to two days approximately every six weeks.

Experience with Salesforce and Jira.
