Workshop Manager (m/f/d) – Mobileye Test & Service Workshops Unterschleißheim / Oberschleißheim
As Workshop Manager, you will take full responsibility for our two Mobileye test and service workshops located in Unterschleißheim and Oberschleißheim. You are the go-to person for all internal teams, external partners, and public authorities concerning our test vehicle fleet. You ensure smooth daily operations, and coordinate all Workshop related topic regarding including safety, quality standards, and the continuous development of our workshop processes.
Your tasks include
- Overall technical and organizational responsibility for both workshops
- Establishment, optimization, and standardization of processes and structures
- Planning and coordination of maintenance, repair, modifications, and upkeep of our test vehicles
- Key contact for TÜV, DEKRA, municipalities, authorities, and external partners (including vehicle registration, inspections, certifications)
- Responsibility for health, safety, environmental topics (EHS) and legal compliance
- Management of workshop tools, equipment, and infrastructure
- Support with logistics, vehicle shipments, and documentation
- Preparation for and support during audits and certification renewals
- Close cooperation with Mobileye’s test, engineering, and operations teams
- Personnel responsibility including guidance, training, and development of workshop staff
What we look for
- Certified Master Technician (Kfz-Meister) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelor Professional)
- Several years of experience as Workshop Manager, Technical Coordinator, or similar role – ideally with test vehicles, special vehicles, or in the ADAS/autonomous driving environment
- Strong knowledge of dealing with testing authorities (TÜV, DEKRA) and government agencies
- Proven track record in building and optimizing workshop structures and processes
- Strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and high level of personal responsibility
- Solid technical understanding of modern vehicles, ideally including BEVs and ADAS systems
- Confident user of common software tools (e.g., MS Office, project management tools)
- Excellent German and English language skills, spoken and written
- Hands-on mentality, team player, pragmatic, structured working style
